warm minimalism

my friday morning started with the discovery of this
renovated open and airy apartment at Berlin
seen at the "home of the week" section at Elle decoration UK

love the cosy atmosphere at this simple modern family home with
its light painted floorboards and the stunning contrast of the raw brick walls,
the textured white plastered walls and the wooden, grey and black painted accents

beautiful warm minimalism that always seems to inspire me...

lately...

 photos elvs

it's great to make a post again after a very short autumn break!
It has been a week where I have spend a lot of time with my family.
The children are having a mini vacation from school so we did a lot of fun things
but it also have been a week where I have tried to find some
new positive energy after the bad news that we heard
a couple of weeks ago that my mother is very ill...
My mother is a very strong positive lady, she will start her treatment
this week and we all support her as much as possible,
on her preferred way... the positive one!

today I share some of my latest  #instashots
my home is filled with fresh greens these days.
I love my changing moods (they make me feel relaxed) and
I really like being creative by making beautiful still-lifes on my bench
with some simple details, my favourite accessories and some photos
from fashion magazines while doing some inside gardening!

have a great new week...

"The Portuguese word Coisa translates as: ‘that which cannot be accurately described’.
To us this was the perfect name for the Coisa Original, which sparked the launch of our collection in December 2012. After all, we weren’t even sure if it was a scarf, shawl, poncho, cape or cardigan!

In a nutshell, the Coisa is an all-rounder, designed to be worn just the way you want.
Our items are manufactured in small studios in Portugal, The Netherlands, Turkey and Belgium,
where we strictly adhere to responsible production and excellent working conditions."

the vt wonen & design fair

- inspiration - ideas- meetings - diy - trends- creativity -

this week I visited the "vtwonen & designfair" in Amsterdam
(the former woonbeurs and the biggest dutch interior and design fair)
where I really had a great time and where I met a lot of fellow bloggers!

I started my visit by admiring one of the most inspiring spots at the fair,
the decorated home of vt wonen and its stunning garden
where a group of dutch bloggers (vosgesparis, april and may and Beeldsteil
created a beautiful blogger spot where visitors could follow creative workshops

Today an impression of this stunning house where we I found
beautiful design pieces combined with vintage and more affordable furniture,
an industrial and botanical atmosphere, a dreamkitchen, a stunning facade,
workspaces created with tiles, warm and dark shades, amazing ceramics,
great art, photos and prints on the wall and stylish monochrome accessories.

Great styling work by the team of vtwonen magazine that really inspired me...
Did you have a favourite stand at the fair?
